Cintiq Issues

So after dropping off the work Mac at my old office, I have the old home PC set up but have spent days trying to get the Cintiq running. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting shiz I can find, including calling Wacom technical support. I believe the problem is my graphics card – it’s simply not detecting a 2nd display and while the Cintiq is on, the screen stays black. And when I hover the stylus over the Cintiq, it moves on the main screen… And since I have an all-in-one HP with an integrated graphics card, I’m basically shit out of luck on this computer. SO, I’ve ordered an iPad Pro through my cell provider which should be here by tonight, and I will work in Procreate for all digital work moving forward. Hopefully, I’ll have some new sketches up in the next couple days as I figure that all out.

In the meantime, if anyone else has had similar issues, leave me a comment and let me know if/how you fixed it.

I need to put HeManuary on hold for a bit; I’ve got a paid storyboarding gig I’m working on for the next couple of weeks so everything else kinda has to take a backseat. This piece, though, will be finished by a couple other local (to me) cartoonists from our Salty Ham Cartooneestas group. I’ll post the finished art w/ credits when it’s done. In the immortal words of the Terminator, “I’ll be bahck.”
